"What did he just say???

Lets's start with the Word:

Meditate:

Esther 3:3-4 - Then the king's servants, which were in the king's gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment? Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.

All Mordecai did was to exercise his liberties. But the thing is this, if the king says it, it's law (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Therefore to choose other than what the kings decrees, makes Mordecai and enemy of the state.

Isn't it amazing how the news that is transpiring all over our world speaks prophetically and adds weight to the message of scripture regarding the last days? Why is God allowing things to transpire as they do? Is it by accident that the words, phrases and expressions used by all classes of society reveal the “true issue?”

It may appear to some, that the world is a huge heaving mass of unregulated and undefined happenings and events…BUT…that idea is so far from the truth.

Meditate:

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.

As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

The interplay and intricacies of what Ezekiel saw seemed so confusing. However, there was orderliness, a Master-mind orchestrating and overseeing all of the operations. And it’s the same way with our world. The seeming randomness and unpredictable nature of the events transpiring, though random and unpredictable to us, they are nevertheless under the watchful guidance of The Most High God.

Read:

The wheels were so complicated in arrangement that at first sight they appeared to be in confusion; but they moved in perfect harmony. Heavenly beings, sustained and guided by the hand beneath the wings of the cherubim, were impelling these wheels; above them, upon the sapphire throne, was the Eternal One; and round about the throne a rainbow, the emblem of divine mercy. Ed 177.3

As the wheel like complications were under the guidance of the hand beneath the wings of the cherubim, so the complicated play of human events is under divine control. Amidst the strife and tumult of nations, He that sitteth above the cherubim still guides the affairs of the earth. Ed 178.1

So what's been said that has peaked my interest?

“A Los Angeles County public official was quoted by the Los Angeles Daily News as saying those who defy the public health order to wear a mask in public in response to the virus pandemic are guilty of an “act of domestic terrorism.”

“If it were up to me, anybody not wearing a mask when they are out in public would be arrested … That’s an act of domestic terrorism and should be treated like one,” Lancaster, California, Mayor Rex Parris, recently said.

It’s perfectly understood for Parris to be frustrated considering the virus pandemic is ravaging the county, though equating non-compliant folks as domestic terrorism is absurd.

Parris’ attitude should come as no surprise to readers as the county – nevertheless, the state – has enforced strict restrictions in recent weeks.

It’s easy to become fearful when we read the words and view the laws being implemented to combat this COVID19 pestilence, but in the darkness of the hour and in the uneasiness of times…listen to His still small voice:

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. Matthew 14:25-27

Have faith in God that He can orchestrate and overseeing the seeming randomness of your life. When life seems like it has no rhyme or reason, know, believe, have confidence that “He’s got you and me brother, in His hands, He’s got you and me sister, in His hand, He’s got very living creature, in His hands, He’s got the whole world in His hands.”

Maranatha!
