What is the connecting link in all of the following scriptures cited below:
Genesis 40:20-22
"And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand: But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them."
Mark 6:21-28
"And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee; And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee...And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother. Daniel 3:1-10
"...Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up."
Did you catch it or did you miss it? Here it is..."music and parties" in those verses always preceded persecution.
Music can gladden the downhearted. It can brighten up the darkest and gloomiest of days. It is an immense power for good. However, in the wrong hands, or used for the wrong purpose, it yields the exact amount of power for evil.
Throughout the scriptures, there are numerous accounts of music being used to bring about death and destruction. Reread the meditational texts and note the thread of truth running through them.
Music in and of itself, the collection of sounds, rhythms tempo’s and timbres are not evil, BUT, they can be used for an evil purpose.
Music has the power to move mankind like nothing else can. Therefore, both God and Satan, in the battle that is The Great Controversy employ music and its power to speak to their disciples.
Read Numbers 25:1-3
“At Balaam's suggestion, a grand festival in honor of their gods was appointed by the king of Moab, and it was secretly arranged that Balaam should induce the Israelites to attend…Great numbers of the people joined him in witnessing the festivities. They ventured upon the forbidden ground, and were entangled in the snare of Satan. Beguiled with music and dancing, and allured by the beauty of heathen vestals, they cast off their fealty to Jehovah. As they united in mirth and feasting, indulgence in wine beclouded their senses and broke down the barriers of self-control. Passion had full sway; and having defiled their consciences by lewdness, they were persuaded to bow down to idols.” PP 454.3
Remember the context of what you’ve just read…The Children of Israel were just about to cross over the Jordan river into the promise land, but on the verge of them crossing over many of them fell and lost their lives because they were lead into idolatry and one of the mediums to facilitate the downward march to death and destruction was music.
On Saturday, April the 18th 2020, the world came together...again!
Again...did you catch it or did you miss it? All kinds of music was offered to cater for the musical taste and preference of those in attendance. Does that sound familiar? Does that sound Daniel 3:4-6 familiar?
Take a look at this:

Why did the WHO (World Health Organisation) choose to use this image as their promotional image? What are they communicating?
...and this:
"As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, 'One World: Together At Home' aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19. Through music, entertainment and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else's," Global Citzen CEO Hugh Evan said in a statement.
Sounds good right?
Meditate on this...
God's word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution. GC 581.2
But someone might say..."I don't see the Papacy in anything that has just been shared" that my friend is the point. While everybody is focused in one direction, the Papacy is growing in power in the other, soon to strike with swift, blinding and devastating force.
The comparisons are striking:
Drinking Babylon's wine led to idolatry
Drinking Babylon's wine will lead to idolatry
There is hope though!!!
There is a way out though! If you choose to believe that Christ came to get you out of the mess that you're in, He can save you! Really? Yes, you can come back even if you have spent all your youth, energy, mental power and resources on "doing what thou wilt" if you are sick of the pig pen, then come on home. (Luke 15:11-24)

John 4:13-14 - Jesus is offering the water of life.
John 7:37-39 - “…this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive…”
